About Us

Mission: To provide enriching athletic activity to the Mankato and surrounding community youth through cheerleading.

Minnesota Power Athletics is an allstar cheerleading program located in southern Minnesota. We are dedicated to the training of athletes for the purpose of competing regionally and nationally.

We also have recreational classes for tumbling, preschool, and recreational cheer.

Our dedicated gym features a spring floor, tumble track (trampoline), and various tumbling mats. Our coaches are all trained and have background in competitive cheerleading, tumbling, gymnastics, and dance.

We were formed in 2018, opening with a half year prep team. Minnesota Power Athletics has grown to 5 full year teams in all competition divisions (Novice, Prep and Elite, and Performance).

We are a non-profit organization, and our main goal is to enrich the lives of our athletes both on and off the cheerleading mat.

Our Story

Our gym started from a love for allstar cheer from our founder, Haley Huchon. A dream, became a hobby, became a small team, which became a couple teams, and quickly formed into a family. #MPAfamily
